The Byre Farm
In 2018, Jeffrey Patterson and I bought an 80 acre property with the intention of creating a small diversified farm. We raise Scottish Highland Cattle, Shropshire Sheep, laying hens, vegetables, and Christmas Trees in a silvopasture system. We added the sheep in 2020 for meat, fiber and to mow and fertilize our Christmas trees. Our products are sold from the farm and we are looking for other outlets for our meat and fiber. We are open to the public and host an AirBnB onsite.
