Maine Fibershed is currently seeking people in the following areas. We seek people with a heartfelt desire to build community who have an open mind and are willing to test-drive all dreams, get in touch!

- Assistant Director. Pat Harpell is heading out to pasture! We are looking for someone with good business acumen, communications skills, extraordinary listening skills, and a hands-on work ethic: whether it’s skirting fleece or designing state-wide programs.
- Fiber Event Support Plan. This is a short-term, project-based initiative to develop a Fiber Festival strategy and deliverables to support the many geographical and socio-economic profiles of our members.
- Grant Sleuth. You won’t have to write the grants! We are looking for someone who can stay on top of grants and sponsorships, pinpoint those that are worth pursuing, and then hand over to a grant writing team. Extra point if you write grants, too.
- Volunteer Coordinator. We need volunteers for many venues: from helping us at our booths at Fiber Frolic and Common Ground Fair, representing us at other festivals, being part of pop-up opportunities, and more.
